Living Waters
Living Waters is a 20-week teaching, discipleship, healing program focusing on healing relational & sexual brokenness through the power of the Cross. For those dealing with the following issues: sexual addiction, emotional dependency, sexual abuse and homosexuality. Living Waters consists of a time of worship and teaching about the ministry of Jesus. After the teaching, participants break into same-gender small groups for a time of personal sharing and healing prayer. These groups function in a similar way to a Lifegroup but are often more intense and transformational due to the committed nature of the group. For more information, call the church office at extension *15, or e-mail us at plfsf@aol.com
Living Waters starts again in January. Application and fee is required. Applications are now being received. Call the office to have one mailed to you. Deadline is December 1, but there is some flexibility.

God instituted the marriage relationship in creation and established marriage and family as the foundation stone of society and culture.. For a marriage to be whole and healthy, the couple must be moving towards the well-being that Jesus provides through His Spirit and His Word. Our Marriage Ministry provides a wide range of services including: Marriage Home Groups, Counseling and Seminars, Engagement Class, and Weddings. For more info, contact our office.
Marriage Home Groups
From time to time, we provide Lifegroups for married couples. In these groups, couples support and encourage each other to grow stronger in their marriages. Gods Word is used as a foundation to help us see marriage from God's perspective and to build the relationship according to His plan.
Counseling and Seminars
We aim to help couples move toward a richer life in Christ therefore, we provide Marriage Counseling on a limited basis. We also have an excellent referral list of local Christian Counselors who specialize in Marriage and Family issues. We have periodic seminars and programs for marriage and family growth. For more info, contact our church office.
Engagement Class
Periodically we offer an engagement class for couples moving toward marriage. We encourage every couple planning to get married to complete this class. Class times are announced several weeks prior to the first meeting. For more information on engagement classes, please contact the church office.
Weddings
Yes we do weddings too! Contact Michael Brodeur at the church office.
Life Transitions
Baptisms Baptisms are held every three months in the Bay or ocean. A required one hour class is held the week before the baptism. All believers are encouraged to be baptized as adults. This is a great testimony to the change that takes place when one becomes a Christian.
Baby Dedications
We do not practice infant baptism, believing that baptism is for believers as a public witness, but we do practice baby dedications. This is a very biblical practice, as recorded in both the Old and New Testament. The child is presented before the congregation for prayer and blessing by the pastoral staff and family and friends. Every two or three months we have a baby dedication.
Funerals
Pastors are available to officiate at funerals, and to serve families and friends that are dealing with the death of a relative or friend. Contact our office for more information.

At Promised Land Fellowship we are deeply committed to intercessory prayer. Throughout the scripture prayer is seen as a means of touching God’s heart and changing our hearts. From Genesis to Revelation, as godly men and women prayed, God heard their cries and answered them, often in miraculous ways. We are firm believers in the fact that God still answers prayer today. Promised Land has a number of prayer meetings that happen throughout the week and we are also founding members of the San Francisco Regional House of Prayer, which seeks to facilitate regional multi-church, 24/7 prayer and worship. If you would like to know more about prayer in our church, please contact Anne Trumbo.

At the very heart of our faith is a commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus with those who have not yet heard. Sharing the Gospel includes everything from practical service to the poor, to public declaration of the Love of God. In order to facilitate this, we provide opportunities for every member to share their faith with others. This happens at in Lifegroups, on Sunday Mornings and at special outreach events. We also seek to help each member share Christ within their sphere of friends and coworkers. Our Outreach Ministry also provides periodic training opportunities to help equip our church to be more effective in the Gospel.
We also believe that we have a responsibility to help bring the Gospel to others outside our local area. We are committed to supporting and sending missionaries and church planters into other nations to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus.
Missions Network This ministry seeks to fulfill God's commission to disciple other nations through our local congregation. We mobilize, train, pray and support people called to minister cross-culturally. If you are interested in foreign missions, watch the Sunday Connection Announcements for the time and place of the next meeting, or call

We believe God has made us in His image to reflect his beauty and creativity in this life. The arts in their various forms are able to speak the truth of God, both to the church and to the world around us. The arts community meets periodically to explore and encourage creativity one another and in the church at large. The Arts Community also presents periodic performances and exhibits providing venues for artist to display their gifts.
